TEACH OR LEAD

A strong community is filled with people who have something valuable to teach.


You do not need to be a traditional classroom teacher to contribute. Artists, business owners, tradespeople, gardeners, musicians, parents, retirees, professionals, hobbyists, and older students may all have knowledge worth sharing.


You may be able to lead:

  • A one-time workshop
  • A recurring club
  • A short class series
  • A demonstration
  • A parent discussion
  • A community service project
  • A career presentation
  • A creative activity
  • A practical life-skills lesson
  • A youth mentorship experience


All proposed activities will be reviewed for safety, relevance, age appropriateness, scheduling, and alignment with Root to Rise values.
