Welcome to Root to Rise!

A Different Kind of Learning Community

At Root to Rise, the experience is bigger than the activity. It’s about helping kids grow strong roots, discover new possibilities, and become more confident in who they are and who they’re becoming.

Children and teens need more than academics — they need chances to move, create, solve problems, build friendships, discover their strengths, and be supported by people who believe in them. Root to Rise brings families together through flexible, engaging experiences that nurture the whole child. As a monthly membership, it creates a community where kids and teens can connect, explore, create, and grow while discovering what they enjoy, what they’re good at, and what they might want to try next.

We encourage everyone to try everything, even when they’re convinced something “isn’t their thing.” You don’t have to love art to create, be a big reader to join book club, or dream of engineering to try 3D printing. Sometimes you find a new passion, sometimes you learn what isn’t for you — both matter.

Every activity is intentionally fun, but it’s also building communication, problem‑solving, resilience, strategic thinking, creativity, motor skills, auditory processing, and the ability to work through frustration. Most importantly, kids build relationships and find a place where they belong.

A Place to Belong

Root to Rise is designed to be welcoming to homeschool families while also offering programs and community events for children attending public schools, private schools, online programs, and other educational settings.

Families do not need to follow one educational philosophy or learning model to participate.

Our goal is simple: create a place where people feel welcome, young people feel capable, and families can build genuine community.
