Programs that Grow With the Community
Root to Rise programming will evolve based on family interest, student needs, available instructors, and community partnerships.
Offerings may be organized as recurring clubs, monthly themes, short-term series, open studios, special events, or one-time workshops.
Membership includes access to at least five activities each week, although specific schedules, age groups, and class lengths may vary.
Learning That Connects the Brain, Body and Real World
Root to Rise uses developmentally appropriate, brain-aware practices that help young people strengthen skills through active participation.
Activities will support:
- Attention and working memory
- Planning and organization
- Problem-solving
- Emotional regulation
- Hand-eye coordination
- Fine and gross motor development
- Communication and teamwork
- Creativity and cognitive flexibility
- Confidence and independence
Young people will practice these skills through activities such as cooking, art, gardening, building, movement challenges, strategy games, community service, entrepreneurship, technology, and collaborative projects.
We make learning meaningful without making it feel clinical, rigid, or unnecessarily academic.

Root to Rise is being built around the needs, interests, schedules, and strengths of local families.

Your feedback will help shape our schedule, age-group offerings, workshops, clubs, community events, and future programs. Please complete our short interest form and tell us:
What activities your child(ren) would enjoy
Which days and times work best for your family
